Throwing Muses is the first album of the Throwing Muses since Limbo (1996). It is presented since the classical author (1991) the The to Ramona also first, material again once the initial member Tanya Donelly, which emerged later with the Breeders and Belly. Donelly followed the group officially not again, participates however in nearly half of the TRACKS as Backgroundsaengerin. With these Inkarnation of Kristin Hershs volume, which is strengthened by the schlagzeuger and initial member David Narcizo and that veterans at the bass, Berne pool of broadcasting corporations Georges, does not need to surprise it one that the Throwing Muses sounds itself like volume, which regenerates its own work, by reducing its pieces up to basic celebrations.This album makes all honour for its sober title: It is Throwing Muses on simple and simply urwuechsige, ungehobelte and strong kind. From the in the meantime unbelievably good catalog of the Throwing Muses come the impulsive debut album (1986) with its howling singing and the diagonal, but typical organization of the clocks, and the fantastische talk Heaven (1992) this new work next. As these two albums Throwing Muses does not contain a second of this fragile beauty, which pulled through still albums such as The material Ramona and University.
