Early in 1995, Tindersticks launched the release of their second album with a lavish concert at the Bloomsbury Theatre, performed with a full orchestra. In November, they released a limited-edition disc of the show. The grand, sweeping arrangements perfectly complement the lush, aching melancholy of their songs and, at times, even improve on the original album versions.
