Having just been granted early release from St. Teresa's Blue Ridge Home For Wayward Girls, I am beset with a spirit of joy and frivolity (some call it "mania") and feel compelled to share this delightful album with you. Stuffy ol' fuddyduddies in search of beautiful, moving, exquisite sounds should keep on a-searching ... or wait a bit. This is for fun.
As it says on her web site, Esmerelda Strange's music may be described as "acoustic electro-clash goes to the punk rock circus in Mexico." A one-woman band. She also plays accordion for Los Banos, the Cyclecide Bike Rodeo Band. ( www.cyclecide.com )
For birthday boys everywhere...
